SCHOOL OF SCIENCES AND TECHNIQUES OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION (ESSTIC)
The foundation of ESSTIC dates back to 1970. On April 17, 1970, the International School of Journalism of Yaoundé (ESIJY, multinational school under the tutelage of a dozen African states was created. ESIJY is nationalized and becomes the Higher School of Information Science and Technology (ESSTI) In 1991, ESSTI takes the name of Higher School of Information and Communication Sciences and Techniques (ESSTIC) ) with the opening to other trades of communication.
It is a communication school under the dual supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education (Minesup) and the Ministry of Communication (Mincom). The ESSTIC has trained so far major journalists including editorialists of Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) and the daily newspaper Cameroon Tribune.Today, ESSTIC has modernized with an increase in its training offer.

CONDITION OF ADMISSION
Cameroonians of both sexes, holders of the baccalaureate all series, GCE AL obtained in at least two subjects (except religious knowledge), in a single session and the GCE OL at least in four subjects (except religious knowledge) and in a single session .Foreigners fulfilling the academic requirements for admission to the ESSTIC level 1 cycle.
