ACADEMIC AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT COOPERATION (DAAC)

It is under the authority of a director. The Department of Academic Affairs and Cooperation is in charge of issues related to Teaching, Research, Teacher Evaluation, Academic Life and Student Affairs.

She deals with problems concerning:

  • Educational programs, all matters relating to the system of studies, examinations and teaching methods;

  • Evaluation of teaching and teaching staff;

  • Collation of diplomas, degrees and degrees;

  • Follow-up of lessons;

  • Registration and orientation of students to institutions;

  • Institutional performance

  • Scientific, technical and educational research;

  • The development of university campus establishments with respect to the creation of cycles, courses and diplomas;

  • Problems related to the career of teachers.


The Department of Academic Affairs and Cooperation includes:

  • The Division of Teaching and Teaching Staff;

  • The Research and Publication Division;

  • The Division of University Cooperation.

DIRECTION UNIVERSITY WORKS CENTER (DCOU)

The Center des Å’uvres Universitaires is under the authority of a Director. It is in charge of the problems related to the reception, the accommodation, and the Restoration of the students, the sport, the management of the allocations of studies and the internships.

He understands :

  • The Department of Study Allowances and Internships;

  • The Division of Restoration;

  • University Housing Division;

  • The Sports and Associative Activities Division


DIVISION OF RESTORATION

The Division of Restoration is under the authority of a Division Head. This division is responsible for problems related to the restoration of students.

She understands :

  • The catering service;

  • The Stewardship of Restaurants.

DIVISION OF UNIVERSITY HOUSING

The University Housing Division is under the authority of a Division Head. She is responsible for student housing issues.

It includes two services:

  • The Housing Department;

  • The Intendance of University Cities.

DIVISION OF SPORTS AND ASSOCIATIVE ACTIVITIES

The Sporting and Associative Activities Division is under the authority of a Division Head. It is responsible for promoting and developing sport within the institution, coaching and monitoring sports and cultural associations and clubs.

  • Ensure the execution of all infrastructure works, equipment expertise and maintenance.

It comprises two divisions:

  • Infrastructure, Equipment and Maintenance Division;

  • Division of Planning and Development.

CENTER MEDICO SOCIAL (CMS)

The Medical Center of the University of Yaoundé II is under the authority of a Center Manager. It is responsible, in connection with the relevant bodies of public health, health and social action for students, teaching and non-teaching staff as well as sanitation and sanitation problems of the Campus. He draws up, for the attention of the Rector of the University of Yaounde II, a six-monthly report on all the problems falling within his field. It includes two services:

  • Health Service;

  • The Service of Social Action.

The health service is under the authority of a department head, doctor in doctor. It is responsible for all matters relating to health in the university, the maintenance of a medical file, and in connection with the relevant departments of the city, the environmental problems and the health of the Campus. This service also provides systematic medical visits to students and service staff. He also provides primary health care and keeps statistics.

The Social Action Service is in charge of all actions to ensure the integration and full development of all categories of students and staff within the Institution.
